
Allen Meglin MD
Dr Meglin earned his Medical Degree at University of Pittsburgh, graduating AOA. He completed a surgical internship, followed by diagnostic radiology at Walter Reed Army Medical Center. He received additional training in needle placement and minimally invasive procedures at The Johns Hopkins Hospital. Dr Meglin has authored several medical publications, was a featured lecturer, and has several medical device patents.
His love of minimally invasive procedures and desire to practice cutting edge medicine led him to regenerative medicine. Dr Meglin has received training from the American Academy of Regenerative Medicine, with coursework accredited by The Mayo Clinic, the Regenerative Medicine Training Institute, and the American Medspa Association. Dr Meglin’s application to the American Board of Regenerative Medicine has been accepted, and he is now one of a handful of physicians that are board eligible in regenerative medicine.
Dr Meglin is owner and provider of Advanced Regenerative Therapy of Savannah. He is medical director for Advanced Regenerative Therapy of Atlanta, and member of an advisory board for a regenerative medicine company. He is in the process of submitting an IRB to the FDA, and currently involved in research using PRP as a tissue adhesive and wound healing agent. Preliminary results in this study have demonstrated significantly lower complication rates. With a patent pending on a regenerative medicine technology and process, and a 510(k) application in progress to the FDA, Dr Meglin hopes to further advance the field of regenerative medicine.

Shannon Trim MPAS, PA-C
Shannon Trim, PA-C received her masters in physician assistant studies from Wingate University in Charlotte, North Carolina in 2014 after completing a BS in Math/Science education with continued emphasis in Biochemistry. She studied integrative medicine with Dr. Elizabeth Vaughan, MD in Greensboro, NC at Vaughan Integrative Medicine. Since 2017, following her work in acute care surgery at Mission Hospital in Asheville, she has specialized in regenerative medicine with emphasis in bio identical hormone therapy, peptide therapy, and PRP injections. She has completed coursework in BHRT through the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine, been certified as a BioTe provider, and she is board certified in Aesthetics by the American Academy of Procedural Medicine. Mrs. Trim currently works with interventional radiologist, Dr. Allen Meglin, MD, who has trained her in regenerative medicine injections of joints under ultrasound guidance. She is an accomplished fine art painter who received a Post Baccalaureate Certificate in painting from Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts. She and her husband transplanted to Asheville, NC with their five teenaged children, two goats, and two dogs. They enjoy spending time with their children, riding bikes, and competitive rollerskating.

Megan Duncan Binstock MS, PA-C
Megan Duncan is a board-certified Physician Assistant, and has been practicing medicine for the past 15 years. She is a graduate of The Ohio State University, and a Master’s graduate of Marietta College of Ohio. As a Physician Assistant, Megan attended the Montefiore Medical Center Postgraduate Surgical Residency Program. In addition to her strong surgical foundation, Megan is experienced in hospital, urgent care, and primary care medicine.
Megan is owner and provider of Advanced Regenerative Therapy of Atlanta. She brings a wealth of experience in aesthetics and regenerative medicine to her practice. Megan holds current certification in ESWT GAINSWave, and is a certified PRP, and certified CIT SkinPen provider. She has held certifications in phlebotomy and electrophysiology, and is certified in Basic and Advanced Neurotoxin and HA Collagen Filler Injection techniques. Megan is Q-switch, Pulsed Light and Picosecond laser qualified, and is a certified Ultherapist and Cool sculpting provider.

Robyn Meglin RN
Robyn Meglin graduated from Armstrong University (now Georgia Southern) nursing in 1980. She has worked as a provider for Ideal Image and has a foundation in cosmetic procedures. Prior to coming to ART, Robyn owned and operated five successful Chiropractic practices. She joins her husband in providing exemplary patient care.

Desiree Valdez RVT, RDMS
Desiree has bachelors degrees in Biology and Ultrasound. She is enrolled in an MBA program at Georgia Southern. She is the section chief of Ultrasound at St Joseph’s Hospital, and one of only two certified musculoskeletal sonographers in the state of Georgia. She has performed ultrasound directed procedures with Dr Meglin for the last four years. Desiree has an abiding respect and admiration for military personnel having served in the Army at the Defense Language Institute.

Darien Larry RVT, RDMS
Darien is a native of the Savannah area. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Radiologic Sciences with a concentration in sonography, from Armstrong State University. She is a registered diagnostic medical sonographer. Working alongside Dr. Meglin for three years, Darien has developed an interest and curiosity for regenerative medicine, and is pursuing further certification in musculoskeletal sonography. We welcome her kind and positive character and attentiveness to patient care in enhancing our team and practice.
Emily Thompson
Emily is a recent graduate of UGA where she studied biology. Emily is now furthering her education with a masters in applied medical sciences. After completing her masters, Emily will attend an MD/PHD program. While earning her masters, she developed an interest in regenerative medicine, and is working to help results of both an FDA clinical trial to treat COVID-19, and a novel technique to increase patient safety during lung biopsies. Emily’s professional and caring demeanor make her an invaluable asset to the practice.
